I would hope Pete got paid the going rate, whatever that was. *Ironically enough, this is the EXACT phrase that started the "comedian" Gallagher's career. Though the person saying it was drunk, high and dead.

Pete is the other member of Steve Jay's band Ak and Zuie. He could have been traveling with the band so that he and Steve could play shows on the off days, or perhaps he helped out as crew.TMBJon wrote:Who is Pete Gallagher and what was his role on the tour?
As mentioned, Pete Gallagher is Steve's longtime friend and collaborator (here he is playing with Steve in the "Can't Wait Long" video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHejlwkvAR8). IIRC, he was working as Jim's guitar tech on that tour, mostly so that he and Steve could go off and be Ak & Zuie on the days when Al didn't have a show. He only did it for that tour, though.
