That still amazes me that he sang that part backwards. And he walked backwards while doing it! It looks pretty cool! WTG, Al!

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

That scene is one of the few references I got all by myself. It's an homage to the backwards scene in Top Secret. Brilliant stuff. If you haven't seen it, go rent it. Go ahead, I'll wait...

I do remember the movie Top Secret I thought that movie was hilarous. But how do you sing backwards? I have been trying to firgure that out all night and still don't get it. But it amazes me that Al was able to do that. ;)

Al is a very talented man! It is amazing that he could do that, but at the same time, it doesn't amaze me because Al is so talented.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Wow, I never knew about the Top Secret homage! I knew Al liked that movie, but didn't know there was a backwards scene in it. I have yet to see the movie. Maybe I'll look for it. Thanks, Bobbi!

Top Secret staring Val Kilmer, right? I remember seeing some of that. What I saw was funny. I need to find that movie and watch the whole thing. Heh...

"Do you speak German?"
"I know a little German. He's over there."
*she points to a short German person that waves*

I have no idea, but my theory (Huh, I thought I posted this last night) is that he filmed himself singing it forward, then played that footage backward over and over and taught himself how to lip-sync backward.
"Wow, another triple negative!"

Well, I may have stated that a little more authoritatively than I should have. I don't KNOW for sure that that's what Al had in mind, but I've always assumed since it is his favorite movie, and since that scene is so brilliant that he decided to parody it. But as I say, I couldn't prove it. I don't know that he has said that anywhere.

Is it in Ask Al? You know I have read that thing multiple times, but I don't remember it there. Then again, I could be wrong.
