The AL-timate Video Collection (was The Videos Rerelease)
Hey all, I remember a while back there was a lot of talk of the rerelease of the videos DVD. I would like to know if anything new has arisen and what you all think about it. I personally believe the release was pulled back in order for the disc to be able to include the videos from Poodle Hat. See ya'!

Given the news at weirdal.com I thought I'd bump up this topic.
So, Al didn't say anything about a commentary track for the videos, but that's the feature I think most of us were hoping for the last time this topic was raised. Do you think there will be a commentary track? It wouldn't be unlike Al to hold off on revealing that kind of info before the release. Plus, TSB and IAATP will likely have the commentary tracks from the Concert DVD. It would nice if all of them had commentary. Plus, recording a commentary track wouldn't take all that long since each video is about 3-4 minutes.
Also, do you think Bob will be included as a special feature? Or perhaps even concert performances from the new tour (WBUL, DED, CP, ACS, TD)?

Well at least one concert reviewer mentioned that Al was video taping the show.
That's enough for me to wildly dream of a video version of WBUL.
No, Al would never leave us dangling about an upcoming WAY release. Lucky, lucky Aussies will get to see it first. But I suppose it's only fair.
And Al? If it's not asking too much, we'd like a nifty color collectors booklet with lots and lots of pictures as part of the Ultimate Videos. Should that be ALtimate Videos?
Oh, and WOO HOO!

24 videos? I guess we get Bob... unless we don't.
Okay, that sounded really dumb as I reread it.
No. There were 22 vids on the first DVD collection + IAATP and TSB = 24 videos.
Bob will only be on there if it's a special feature. I hope it is on there. He did release the two educational videos from ALTV2K on the Live DVD, so there's hope.
I agree with sarley that the delayed US release is a good SIGN for us in the USA. That means he'll have more time to add more features. Imagine the possibilities...
