Well that would explain why Al didn't do a commentary  . I'm just kidding. Al didn't do a commentary because he was lazy. I don't know what my theory is. I was just pointing something out then I find myself writing that what Al did was kind of sad. Oy Vey!!!! :o

I guess the rights thing probably is true.

Hmm I don't understand what you're trying to say, Driew. I like those bits that are on the UVC. I dunno. I guess it doesn't strike me as odd that they were on Altimedia. Whatever. And OE said they were among the best bits, not THE best bits. I love TWAS, and dont like it being bashed, especially sight unseen.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

The reasons that only those four bits of TWAS were included on the set are:

A) Because they are videos and it IS a VIDEO COLLECTION
B) Because since they were videos, he was probably able to retain the rights to those bits and therefore he was able to release them without the legal crap from Dick Clark Productions.

I can't wait to see UVC. And I don't plan to diss TWAS before I've actually seen it!

(I think it may be under the Christmas tree however...)

I'd have to say in my opinion Al is anything but lazy. But that's just what I get from it. Laid back, definetely, but far from lazy. The boy does his research...

:inlove:

Ok, ok, I'm going now...

Before this gets any worse. I AM (WAS) NOT TRYING TO DISS ANYTHING, ANYONE, ANYSENSE, or ANYTOUCH!!! Do I make myself perfectly clear. I was simply stating an OBSERVATION. If you still don't believe me just delete every post that I've wrote in this topic before this post.

Man do I feel better. :P

Time for me to finally post my comments:

Love the DVD; I've watched it several times. I only wish there were a few more things (which there probably couldn't have been due to legalities):

More TWAS clips. (At least the "Yoda" performance; maybe some Fred Huggins and 60% Chance of Rain)
The alternate version of "Spy Hard" available at Launch--the one with actual clips from the movie.

As I said, though, they probably couldn't put these on due to copyright issues.
"Wow, another triple negative!"
