Whatever You Like - I'm soooo sick of Al parodying rap songs lately. (Yes, I lump Usher and R. Kelly in that category.) You know, Al... other genres exist. There are some rock songs out there that are pretty damn popular. Also, he hasn't touched the emo scene at all. Seriously. There are so many better targets than all these rap songs.

I really hope the parody is of that Pink song, because it's not only something different, but it's actually a pretty cool song.
Al parodies what's popular. Always has, always will. Rap is more popular in the mainstream than rock. And there's very little rock making it big right now. That's just how it is. Most of the music scene is either rap, R&B, or pop.

As for Emo...nobody gives a flying crap about that music. You have a better chance of Al parodying Elmo.

Pink? Sure. There's definitely a good chance of that. He's parodied "punk rock" girls before with Avril and Cyndi Lauper. So there's a possibility. But I'm betting on the T.I. parody. I'm not a big fan of T.I., but I think it's the more likely candidate.

Oh, and Usher and R Kelly are NOT rap artists. Not by a long shot. Let's keep our facts straight please.

No we don't yet. The info hasn't been released.
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"

*sigh* If the name had been released, the information would be very obviously all over the forum.

Well, there's plenty of speculation of that, too...

My guess is even when we do get a title, it'll be one of those vague "Couch Potato"-esque titles and we'll still have no idea what it's a parody of.

You know Al's loving this
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Didn't you read the topic title? The song is called "October 7th." It's about all the stuff in history that has ever happened on October 7th. Pretty clever that Al picked the same day to actually release the song.
