(...oh my god...) that's scary, wonderful, painful and amazing -- all at once. I'm grateful for Al reminding me that I can just be me (er, nerdy) and stop thinking about comparing myself to others. I'm very glad Al's been there for other people in such serious situations
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.

wow, uh, I know Im not the first person to quote this but woah... thank goodness for Al!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While Ive never quite contemplated suiside, I know how Al can help get out of really rough situations,
Al has seemed to pull a lot of people out of hard times and make them just a little (or a lot) better, I think this makes him a very important person, so many people just brush Al of as comedey or somehow lower than "serious artists" While essensialy he has devoted his life to making people happy,
I guess thats what I like about Al, he can reach out to such a wide variaty of people and just make them feel good about themselvs, and still say as humble and as nice of a guy as ever... I don't know how he dose it. He is just a wonderful person, and I wish there was a way i could thank him for all he's done, not just for his music.
Oh snap!

That's just so... Appreciative and sad at the same time. ;(

It sort of made me cry too.

I like Al because he's real. Down-to-earth. A regular guy in spite of his success and huge fanbase. I can tell during his interviews and the two times I've met him.

And he's a proud nerd like me!

Wow, where did you come up with that? Yeah I know, you linked it, but still. Yeah, that person did put it well though, disturbing as it was. At least it wasn't so scary, like children posting details they shouldn't about themselves scary.

Whoa - I found that blog sadly disturbing. I'm glad for what Al's music has given her but so sad that she's so depressed....
Hoping the Al goodness never ends...

She's a teenage girl with a blog. Of course she's depressed.

Probably the best thing I like about Al is the fact he's so approachable but people still get star-struck despite his approachability.
