I'm pretty sure they're friends and have met each other on several occasions. Al and Matt even took a picture together:

I think it'd be awesome if Al played a part in one of their movies or even if he made a small cameo in a South Park episode.

Yesterday I was watching this awesome movie for the first time in maybe a year, and in the many years I have owned it I never read the special features on the back. It said it includes Wild Commentaries from The South Park writing staff, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and Kevin Smith. Took me by surprise, I was like, oh sweeeet. After the movie I tried to find the commentary but could not access it at all.

It said stuff about Al loving their work and how he likes to give his input on films he finds really funny, so Idoes anybody else own or know about how to find that? My DVD sais to find it in the theatrical version of the film, which is where all the commentaries would be and they are listed but they don't come on when I play the movie.

I must know what he sais in this commentary, Im gonna try to mess with it again today and hopefully figure it out. Checked around online and found lots about it, just no audio or anything telling me what he says.

You obviously didnt use the search feature on WOWAY! We have a 10 page topic that was started in 2004. Al is in commentary c, starts at about 16 minutes in and lasts for 9 minutes. Its all pre written jokes, not actual insight into the film
