Speaking of Al and death related things...I'm going to make this a spoiler because it's reguarding the updated antics of the SOL tour...

SPOILER What the heck is with the sudden mercy for Rubén?? I expected him to be shot, and he WASN'T! Is this some sort of zero-tolerance policy BS?

Because Rubén was sick of being teased, and Al thought "Fair enough" and so now they're all equal. I can't really see how that can be construed as BS.

In concerts, Rubén was always picked on by Al, as a joke of course, whereas Jon, Steve and Jim were pretty much left alone.

Maybe Ruben was genuinely peeved at being the butt of so many jokes, and Al decided that consideration for a friend, fellow musician and fellow tourbus inhabitant took precedence over comedic value.
