Damnit. They should really separate the 2D and CG categories. I personally liked NTFN, but DDTS pwns.

That bites that DDTS didn't win.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I guess I'm not too disappointed. I was under the impression that the "DDTS" video was the least favorite of the dualdisc's animated vidoes.

...Not that I didn't want it to win; I just didn't think it was that great of a video.

Pancreas gets the least favorite vote from me. DDTS was different, and probably is my second least favorite, but it had it's moments. It's still a shame it lost.

Personally, I'm not surprised it lost and actually I don't think it really deserved to win anyway. I can't be upset about this one.

In an interesting coda to this story, ASIFA's New York chapter presented the video with a special "Excellence in Animation" award Sunday night at their 38th annual awards festival. Click here for the awards page. It's not usually looked upon as big of a deal as the Annies, but it's still recognition from the animation industry.

So...finally...congrats to Bill and Al!
