The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood has announced its nominations for the 34th annual Annie Awards, the animation industry's most prestigious honor (their Oscars).
Bill Plympton's video for DDTS has been nominated in the Best Animated Short Subject category!

The awards will take place on February 11. Congratulations to both Bill and Al!

You got me on that one. A quick check over on the IMDb shows that Bill has been nominated for an Annie only once before (in 1998), so maybe they felt he deserved to be in the running again.
