I agree 100% with what R. Wappin has just said. It's not be what I like best about him, but it still really gives me a huge appreciation towards him.

I also like Al because he inspires us to do great things that all draw back to him. Like R. Wappin's fan-freakin-tastic Albuquerque video, my Weird Al world, Patti's desserts, Aron's artwork, and so much more! We just love Al so much that we let the part of our minds that love Al take over and do something that everyone is in awe with.

I remember at the OC Fair in 2004, I spoke to a lady in the line who assumed that the Weird Al she was going to see was a new guy who had taken over the "weird" gig from the original '80's Weird Al. She was amazed that the guy she was about to see leaping and polka-ing all over that stage was the original.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

There are so many things I like about Al ! :) It's just too difficult to pick a best, but I suppose the first thing I liked about Al was his music, 'cause that's the only part I knew. Al's songs would make me laugh so hard tears would be running and when trying to repeat what was so funny, I couldn't speak without more laughter spilling out

And I can still remember the excitement of going to see him in concert for the first time. Of course, after seeing him in person I felt like kicking him (heyyy, that was a perfectly natural reaction--he was an instant addiction  ) So if you haven't seen a concert yet, you will want to see more than one - hehe

There are so many facets of creativity, and Al is a creative inspiration (The members of Al's band are also inspirations in many ways)

It really is difficult to narrow down. Be glad I stopped there--I could go on and on all day long. Oh yeah...that's probably why it's supposed to be just one thing.

Well said. When you said kicking him, I had to read it over because I thought you meant that you actually wanted to kick him. That wouldn't be very nice. :P

I like Al because unlike a lot of music artists, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He just has fun. He also seems like a lot more of a down to earth guy than most celebrities. Not to mention his music is hilarious and great.

I agree 100% to that!

I love all his many faces, and costumes. Also, he is a really nice guy. I read a story when the girl met WAY and she accidently dropped her pens. He actually picked them up for her. Now tell me, how many celebs would do that these days?

I love the laughter and the joy we experience every time we listen to an Al song. (I always say Al's cheaper than therapy - and so much more fun!) He's a genius and always gives 100% to all us fans!

I like Al for his music, of course. Thanks to him, not a day has gone by that I haven't laughed since I became a fan 11 years ago :P

But other than that, I love the fact that he has such great morals and close family ties. I loved it how when I met him, it was so easy to talk to him because he really didn't seem like other celebrities. When he smiled, it was a true genuine smile, like he was really glad to be meeting his fans. Not many celebrities are like that. He wasn't stuck up or anything at all, and he got all modest when I was telling him how great he was. And I love how he always always puts on a great show and has such high energy all the way through it.
