You answered my question. I was asking if there were many that didn't get in.

For the shows I attended several years back, they were not sell-outs. The bleachers were about 3/4 full, but there were still seats available. Hard to say just what this year will bring.

Al has gathered a lot of new fans this year because of White and Nerdy along with the rest of SOL getting so big in the media world. I hope there won't be sell-out. I would be upset if anyone, including me, didn't get in.

Of the 6 OC Fair shows Al did in 2002, he only did one meet and greet -- that was after the Thursday show, but the series was more special because they were the only concerts he did that year. I think the weirdal.com FAQ says Al normally does NOT do meet and greets at fairs and amusement parks.

That Thursday was the 25th...Christmas in July :)

Woo-Hoo! They are giving indications that "Early Bird reserved seating" may be available for Al's shows, so let's keep an eye out for those. I will gladly, GLADLY pay an additional price to get decent seats without having to sit for hours in the hot sun!

Thank you for sharing that, Squirrelygirl! :)

I just realized that Al's last show at the OC Fair overlaps with the first night of my vacation in California this summer. And, it's on my birthday!! Wooooo!

When I order my tickets, are any shows at the fair expected to be better than the others? I'm assuming no, I just want to make sure that I get the tickets for the right show(s).

I don't think there will be much of a difference between each of the shows. Maybe, if anything, a song in the set will be replaced.
