I was just imagining all the Al fans all over the country seeing Bela's cameo and going "Awww! Bela!" Nice to see the old girl again. Wonder if Suzanne was the hand model for the "touch." That oughta be enough to get her an IMdB page, right? :P

I could have done without Al's reference to the personal sanitary device, but I think I can understand why the FedEx interview was so harsh... much harsher than usual, even with fairly talent-free interviewees. Al's a loving and responsible father, and I think K-Fed's performance as a dad, or rather as an inseminator, really genuinely disgusts Al (viz., the reference to the "practice children"). In any case, though, I was watching Al-TV with SquirrelyGirl in the home of a couple of friends of mine who are even more fastidious than I am about bad language, and they laughed freely (they may have been glad they sent their kids to bed already, though).

But SG and I were both wondering: what's with the hair gel, Al? And what'd you do with the wedding ring?

Maybe he thought that the gold flashing would be distracting since he was gesturing so much during the interviews, but still... we notice these things.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I did!

Man, the KFed interview was harsh. Yikes! But I think OE has it right.

I can't believe I missed the White House Tour. Why didn't somebody remind me last Thursday?

Thanks for the upload Jace. I didn't think I'd get to watch it since I'm VH1-less. And your download was so clear. It was kinda like a podcast...

I didn't notice the lack of a ring, but I did notice the lack of Harvey. He didn't really kill him last time did he???

I totally said that when I saw Bela too! (And I'm amazed this is the first we're hearing about her new comfy government job...you think he would've mentioned that on his site)

You know, I think another reason the K Fed interview was so harsh is that K-Fed doesn't mind the "haters", and I would think he'd know that Al isn't really a hater (More of an indifferent-er really, but for the sake of comedy...), though I'm sure OE's right and some personal feelings came through too. ;)
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

How do I go about uploading Jace's version to my iPod. I have the file on my desktop, but now I don't know where to go from here.

I'm not going to comment on the whole show right now. But I will say,

Thanks, Al! I've always wanted to stare directly at the sun :) (doesn't count when looking at it through a layer of L.A. smog at sunset)

I can't get that to work, has anyone done it?

ETA: never mind, it's downloading now :D

I never thought of that. Bela seemed so at ease with whoever actually touched her on the nose that it must have been someone she either knew or was comfortable with. Of course, Al was holding her, but still...
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...
Al Team 2772!
RIP Bela
