So AL-TV will be back on VH-1 sometime in mid-December, as per Al's latest Myspace blog. :whoot:

Yes, it looks like we've gotten an official green light to do AL-TV on VH-1! We don't have an air date yet, but we're guessing mid-December. It will be an hour show, mostly just showcasing all the videos from the new album... but I have a feeling one or two of my close, personal celebrity friends will be dropping by for some exclusive, revealing interviews as well.

I'm very excited about this! :whoot: I'm glad Al was able to work something out with VH-1, even though it sounds like that came with the price of reducing the amount of interviews. At any rate, we will still get a couple of celebrity interviews, and I'm sure it will be a highly entertaining show.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

You know, I hate to be the spoiler here, but if this AL-TV is just the eight SOL videos plus two or three celebrity interviews I'll be pretty let down. Each AL-TV has been more restrictive than the last one and I'd think with all of Al's success (and all of the stuff he's done for VH1 over the last 5 years or so), they would let him do the kind of show he really wants to do.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
