Yeah, the things you find on the internet... :F For example, I didn't know that this forum existed until I saw the logs from my site (which you so kindly translated, btw).

Although I don't see what's wrong with me being outside of the US and still being a big fan of Al.

Well, I guess maybe some of the references and inside jokes from the video might get 'lost in translation', as for example I wasn't aware of who Taylor Hicks was until I saw the video. (Although I might add that even if I was in the U.S., I'd probably still be unaware of who he is, as I don't like that kind of shows).

I'm still trying to find a place in Mexico to buy Al's latest album, but if not, I will probably go to the U.S. and buy it when I got a chance.

Oh, and :w to all the people here from Monterrey Mexico.

Welcome to the forum, Guillermo! Glad you found us. Good luck getting the new SOL and don't underestimate the power of amazon.com if you're really stuck. By the way you share your name with one of my favorite screenwriters, Guillermo Arreaga, who is also from Mexico.

Hola, Guillermo.

Your name translated is my husband's name. :welcome:

I wasn't aware of who Taylor Hicks was until I saw the video. (Although I might add that even if I was in the U.S., I'd probably still be unaware of who he is, as I don't like that kind of shows).

Frankly, I wasn't either, so your not alone.

Don't be a stranger, and thanks for dropping by, and may I compliment you on your excellent taste in music and your excellent English.

Hey, sg, my hubby's name is William, too! Small world! Guillermo is so much more poetic, though.

Welcome to WOWAY, Guillermo! I hope you can get a copy of SOL.

Glad you enjoyed the new video.

Bienvenido, Guillermo! No hay NADA EN ABSOLUTO mal en ser un fanático de nuestro apreciado Weird Al si uno está fuera de los EU. Nos encantan los fans internacionales. Los tenemos de Rusia, Italia, Australia, Francia y no sé dónde más.

Have fun here on the forum! :welcome:
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Translation: Welcome, Guillermo! There is absolutely NOTHING bad in being a fan of Weird Al if your outside the US. They enchant (?) fans to us international. We have them of Russia, Italy, Australia, France and I don't know where.

Welcome Guillermo! Your name is also my first name, in English! No, not Grayson, my REAL first name. :P

Um, the one line you translated would be "we love international fans". It would literally be "we are enchanted by", but in Engilsh, "love" is used more loosely than in Spanish. The next line would be "We have them from Russia, Italy, Australia, France, and I don't know where else." de means both of and from.

4th year Spanish student here. It never leaves you, I guess.
