I can't help but feel sad for that Star Wars Kid. In the comments for that clip, someone described him as "Exactly like the guy in White and Nerdy". Well, he actually called it "white nerdy video".

Yeah...SWK's been around forever. On a side note, when I was younger I was an obsessed SW collector, and I have the issue of the SW Insider with that odd, rambling piece on Al that can't figure out whether it's about Al or comedy music with SW refs and also can't figure out if there's an H in his last name...this reminds me strongly of it, but this time, I didn't see it and think, "Hey! That's the C@GZ guy!" :lookaround:
Dave? Hello Dave? Is Dave there? There's a block in your t'ilet.

Fun read! Thanks!

"One year for Halloween, I dressed up like Frank -- the guy that would restock the vending machines on the Death Star before it blew up," Yankovic says. "Coincidentally, Frank looks amazingly similar to the way I normally do in real life.

I can't picture that character, so I'll have to check that Frank out :)

I have the same life-size Yoda...  I remember asking him about that after seeing it in the video because I suspected they were the same!

That's funny! I took a picture of life-size Yoda that caught my eye in a Vegas gift shop a few years ago. Might be the same thing.

Until this article, I didn't even know about the Star Wars lightsaber kid.

I knew because a guy at work saw the WAN video and recognized him right away (the guy at work also collects action figures, but I don't think they're star wars related)

When I read that in the article I actually had to go and watch the W&N video because I couldn't remember the referance

A life-sized Yoda under my desk would scare me, I would be at it's eye level when I'm lying in bed. I can imagine being semi-conscious and being scared to death by it :P

Don't have the life-size Yoda (can't afford it) but have plenty of other SW figures -- even a lot of cherry ones!

Nice article overall.

When I first got mine (this was a while ago... about 8 or 9 years now) it scared my little sister enough that I came home one time and found a sheet placed over his head.

I know there's a life sized Yoda at one of the comic shops here, but yeah...too expensive.

I had heard of the Star Wars kid before, but I never saw the video for it or anything.
