Thats all I could come up with too, and it still doesnt make much sense. But anything with Al is a good thing.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Al did commentary for this because of friendship with Matt & Trey. I saw a transcript of Al's comment-- one single comment-- and it was pretty generic, something about it being the best movie they'd done since "BASEketball" (spelling?)

Al's not in it, he just is on the commentary track. Probably not for the entire film, maybe like Michael Richards on the UHF commentary.
