And I think that you don't know that feeling of being an Al fan laughing out loud with music but don't getting jokes!!!
I do get most of the jokes. But I usually miss the Parody aspect because I just don't know the original. Thanks to JKaudio, I have a better grasp of the parody. (Thanks, Jeremy!) Al and I apparently have very different taste in music. He listens to a lot of people I don't like, or have never heard of, and I listen to him.
Sometimes it's just disgusting if you don't get the whole joke, you must be an ice-cream fan to get "I Love Rocky Road" or a gossip freak to understand "Headline News", and that's why I was disappointed with "Couch Potato" - there's maybe two or three programs or celebrities from the huge list Al mentions that I know... Maybe you could explain them to me
I'd be happy to try, I'll work on it.
Actually Seva, your english is quite good. I think what you are missing is the cultural references. And maybe a little bit of vocabulary.
However, Al fandom truly has its benefits - my English gets better and better,
Yeah, for me too. Or maybe hanging out with OE is responsible for that...
Hope I will pass this summer's exam just quoting Albuquerque...
LOL!
I'll work on the references from CP and get back to you.
