Didn't see a mention of this here...

God, I would pay good money to see that movie.

Re: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
That is so funny! I love how Al has a cameo as an agent. LOL!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!
Al Team #325

That clip was filled with best parts, but the BEST best part was Patton Oswalt as Dr. Demento. Gold.

Re: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
So, this is just a joke trailer? At first that's what I thought but Al on Twitter and facebook, and on weirdal.com make it sound real...and it's early for April fools lol. Guess I'm just confused. The trailer is hillarious though!

That's what I'd like to know, too. If this isn't the movie Al was working on, it's pretty confusing.

Re: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
It got a mention in a New York Times blog.

One would think the "Funny or Die" origin is an instant giveaway. If not, it's at least as true to life as Yankee Doodle Dandy was about George M Cohan.

Re: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
Well I dont think this would be the movie Al was talking about for Cartoon Network, since in his last blog, he mentioned hes just starting to write the 3rd draft. I don't think that since that blog was written there would have been enough time to write another draft, get a cast ready, and shoot the film. Just my thoughts...

Re: Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
Still, it's pretty elaborate for a hoax.
