11/05/10 Austin, TX "Fun Fun Fun Festival"
I'll be going to this one. Hopefully this doesn't sell out as ridiculously fast as that screening earlier this year...
Anyway, this is a festival event, so it isn't gonna be the best place for anyone to see just Al, but I figured I'd be able to squeeze enough figurative "juice" out of the experience to still enjoy it. I was very excited to see this show added because it is NOT a summer tour date, and Al himself said he thought the last MO show they added would be the last North American tour date this year. I wonder if this is just a one-off thing or if it could lead into a tiny November tour? I think it's the former, but who knows? Either way, this is a very nice surprise, even if it's just a festival. I'm pretty sure Al should get a good reaction there... hopefully the crowd is good, because he isn't the "main event" there, but I have no serious doubts.
Anyone else?

I'm definitely going to this one! I also want to see some of the other bands playing at the festival. Too bad there's probably not going to be a meet and greet, but hey, it's one more concert I wasn't expecting to see on this tour!

Yeah, I'm definitely not expecting a meet and greet, but it's a nice surprise and great shot to see the show again.
I saw a few other bands I wanted to catch there too, so we'll see what happens!

Dang it! So is this the official end of the U.S. tour, or Stroudsburg? I'd love to attend the last U.S. date, but if this is it, sorry Al, ,I'll be in Maui, that takes precedence!

I don't know that this constitutes as part of the 2010 tour EXACTLY... it isn't exactly a summer date or in Europe. I think Al means for the 9/4/10 to be the final "official" date of the tour, while he makes this one-off performance later on in the year. He can't call it a part of the tour if he'll be going home for months and then gearing up and traveling down to Texas for a single, festival show. Knowing Al, he'll probably call it the "November 2010 North American Tour" with only one date.
This also poses an excellent question: Could this mean he'll perform some new material? He'll have been off the tour for at least a couple of months, which does give him some time to come up with some new parodies.

Yeah, in my distinction of the tour...Stroudsburg is the last date of the official tour. Can't see a one-off date counting as the tour continuation...nor, the dates in England. Although, I do wonder about the possibility of any new material...especially for the England shows. Al said that he wasn't going to unofficially release any new material until the album comes out, and wasn't that estimated to be sometime in November?

Actually, when I referred to European dates, I was basically combining the Summer Tour with the European Tour, since those are the only actual sets of dates that aren't one-offs this year. (European Tour being just barely since it's only two dates so far)
Hm, well if he isn't going to perform his newer stuff until the album release, that would be a shame. I have a faint hope that he might do a performance of SOMETHING new, since from what I've read, Al did that with Headline News back in 1994. Either way, it could happen to be during the European Tour!

WOW I just looked into this festival. Didn't realize it was a big deal type of show since most of Al's shows have been much smaller. But this lineup... You've got to be kidding me!!
