08/26/08 Monroe, WA: Evergreen State Fair

Who's heading out to this one? I'll be there, probably spending the day at the fair before hand.

I have a few friends going, but not a ton. Some folks were deterred by the fact that

A: It's all the way out in Monroe
B: It's on a weekday.

Doesn't stop me though.

I'll be there. Why did Al choose the Monroe fair this year? What was wrong with Puyallup.

My guess is because Puyallup fair doesn't start till September and the tour ends August 28th. So they probably couldn't find enough dates to continue the tour through September for the Puyallup fair or Al had vacation plans already for September

BTW, I was thinking of going to this show but after going to the show in Salem I'm glad I went to just that one--what a GREAT atmosphere to end the tour for me on.

We talked before about how Nina starts school in Sept. No way is Al gonna want to be on the road for that.

Weather forecast has changed from rainy to cloudy....which makes me very happy. Now, if it will just stay that way (Knock wood).

I totally forgot about that! I wonder if we're going to get reports in the media of where she's going to school. Not many people have the last name Yankovic...

The older she gets the harder it's going to be for Al to keep her face a secret. I'm very curious to see what kind of rebellion she is when she hits her teens hehe.

Al & Suzanne aren't really keeping her face a secret. They do take her out in public and all. They're just not having photos of her face published.

LA schools are FULL of the children of celebrities. Hopefully they'll leave the Yankovic progeny alone and go bother somebody who gets on the cover of People regularly.
