I thought since next year is the 25th anniversary of "In 3-D", Al should try to perform the album live in Los Angeles or Lynwood (and recorded/released on DVD) with the band (and possibly some female back-up vocalists, brass players, and Musical Mike) with no video screens or pre-recorded audio (except for Don Pardo's ILOJ bit), 2 costume changes, and no medley. He could also ask Billy Joel if 'It's Still Billy Joel to Me' could be released. The set should look like this:

It's Still Billy Joel to Me
Polkas on 45
I Lost on Jeopardy
Midnight Star
The Brady Bunch
Buy Me a Condo
That Boy Could Dance
Theme from Rocky XIII
King of Suede
Eat It (first costume change)
Nature Trail to Hell (second costume change)

What do you guys think?

Possibly, but I don't see something like this happening. Most of his early songs are too dated by now.

if it did happen it would be on dvd for sure, some songs would be performed but not included on the DVD, like on Weird Al Live. the setlist would be more like this:

I Lost On Jeopardy
Yoda
Not On DVD: Amish Paradise
King Of Suede
Not On DVD: Smells Like Nirvana
Nature Trail To Hell
Not On DVD: Food Medley:, or SOL tour Medley
Theme From Rocky XIII, Flatbush Avenue, Spameater, Feel Like Throwing Up, Avocado, Sometimes You Feel Like A Nut (Suddenly Last Summer), Take The L Out Of Liver (Take The L Out Of Lover), Fatter, My Bologna, Whole Lotta Lunch, We Got The Beef
Not On DVD: White And Nerdy
Eat It
Another One Rides The Bus
I Love Rocky Road

A lot of bands do full albums these days as special shows. I think it's at the very least a neat thought.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

But the idea is for him to only do In 3-D and maybe ISBJTM as a bonus, if Billy approves. If not, then only In 3-D songs.

Also, NTTH needs to finish the show since it's so epic and since it ends with the album's title.

If he were to do a DVD of the concert, do you think he might re-create the album cover for it?
