Great topic!
Just one big disclaimer to add: After show meetings are never guaranteed, even for those with passes. Meeting Al is not included in the price of the ticket. Like I tell people, if you want to meet Al, go to an event where Al is specifically booked to sign autographs or meet fans, like an album signing, or convention. Go to the concert for the concert. Meeting Al, or other band members at concerts, depends on tons of factors, including, but not limited to, schedule and travel considerations, prior engagements, safety, health, crowd size and behavior, the venue's willingness to let people hang around, the phase of the moon, etc.. In other words, its beyond control and there's no way to tell. A lot of times even Al doesn't know whether he's doing a public meet until moments before he does it.
Here's what I can fill in (minus the OC Fair information which you already got):

I didnt see one, but there were reports it was happening at another location from where we were waiting.May 5 Atlantic City, NJ House Of Blues
Unknown, but highly unlikely, considering the festival atmosphere, and it wasn't "their show".May 6 E. Rutherford, NJ The Meadowlands - Bamboozle Festival (45 minute set)

I can't be much help on this one. We didn't hang around long enough to find out if he did anything public. But there was a small crowd by the buses, so it's possible.August 31 Denver, CO Coors Amphitheatre
yepSeptember 18 Harrisburg, PA The Forum
I'd say no. Rich and Rachael reported meeting him not that long after the group with me left. However, from their review, it seems like they just happened to be at the right place at the right time. I wouln't call it "public", as it seems like Al's intent for eventually coming out wasn't to meet with fans.September 20 New York City, NY Beacon Theater
Unknown. We left before he arrived. There was still a handful of people waiting. However, even if he did meet with them eventually, I don't know that I'd call this one "public" either. The crew was literally dragging their suitcases to the bus at that point. It's unlikely Al came out for the purpose of meeting fans, but rather for the purpose of getting onto the bus to head out for the next stop.September 21 Ledyard, CT Foxwoods Casino

I believe this one is a no. I didnt stick around, but he ws in the hospital that day and I cant see him standing around in the rain to sign autographs. I know Nancy got to see him, but I believe she had backstage passes.weird_el @ Oct 5 2007, 02:52 PM wrote:

Yup, that's why I'm asking and compiling the stats toward the end of the tour. Thanks for the input so far.Elvis @ Oct 5 2007, 04:22 PM wrote: After show meetings are never guaranteed, even for those with passes. Meeting Al is not included in the price of the ticket.
