Huh. For some reason, I can't get it working. Oh well. I'll have to check it again later to see if it likes me.

Worked perfectly for me earlier today. I thought it was a pretty interesting segment, and always nice to hear new Al content.

I didn't know about this, but my dad's subscribed to that podcast and he showed me... We were both laughing the whole way through. :P

Yeah, that was pretty good, except for when Paula Poundstone kinda cut down Al's Dick Contino story by saying that pictures aren't always reality. ;) I've heard Al talk about that pic of Dick Contino before. I say, why couldn't he have been an accordion playing sex symbol? Al certainly is!

:inlove:
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I had some problems loading too, but it was a fun show. I enjoyed it very much, and it was nice to see that Al had a good time.

And that bit about Winton Marsalis dissing the accordion. Doesn’t he know that every single musical instrument on earth has a place in music! Don't get me wrong I like Winton and his music, but he should know better.

Thanks for the link KnottyEmily. :Y

I think the song they were talking about ("changing the bathroom signs" ) could have been Bob Rivers' "The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen."

And the accordion IS a sensual instrument...especially when Al's playing it!

Thanks for the link! That was interesting...and different.
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...
