I can't believe there's not a thread in the media section about "Johnny Dangerously." Oh well.
Keebler and Kellogg's are currently running a mail-in promotion in which one needs to collect five certificates off their packages to send away for a free DVD, and "Johnny Dangerously" is among the selection one can pick from!
I imagine a lot of us on here already have the DVD, but still if you've been waiting and you consume a lot of products by these companies, this might be a great way for you to get the movie finally. And BTW, the offer looks like it's only open to U.S. residents. Sorry.
I don't know how much this DVD will differ from the retail version, if at all. The offer says these are just movie-only versions, so the trailer might be missing (which mentions Al in a voice-over), just FYI. And the last time Kellogg's had an offer like this for MGM films, the DVDs came in cardboard sleeves as opposed to normal cases. So who knows for sure what you'll get here, but at least you'll get the movie with Al's theme on it.
