Not sure if Media Al is where this belongs...so if a mod wants to merge or move it, that's fine. Anyway, I thought it was a cool find, only because it isn't the song you'd expect to be on the list.

77 "Trapped in the Drive-Thru"
"Weird Al" Yankovic
We thought R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" was beyond parody until we heard this "Weird Al" joint, which chronicles a couple's struggle to get dinner.

That's awesome! Great to see Al's getting recognition for more than just W&N. Also, it's cool that they are basically saying that all the crappy parodies of the song that came before Al's were...well...crappy. :P

Great find, Bob!

That's great, especially since TitDT is probably my favorite song off of SOL. It's close between that, and Confessions Part III. hehe, Al's not the only one who called a song/album a "joint".
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

That's really cool! I'm glad that Al's getting some lovin' in Rolling Stone, especially after all the hating they've been doing on him in the past few years.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

That's great ... TitDT is also my favorite song from the ALbum .... good to see it getting some recognition.

It's also pretty cool that "Ridin'" was number three on their list.

Maybe Rolling Stone finally got a sense of humor and shed their holier-than-thou attitude!?! Who woulda thunk it?

They must have actually listened to Al's CD.

Congrats Al!

Well they did give it a 3 out of 5 star review (Which for RS and any artist is pretty good), so either they listened to it or just made up the review so they didn't have to bother :P
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

It's amazing that Al even placed higher than the legendary Solomon Burke.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
