ok get this. I was chatting on ares the mp3 search thing. and this guy ripped into my name Weirdalover. He was a Nirvana fan and was ticked that Al parodied Smells Like Team Spirit. He said in Kurt Cobains journal he call all "a talentless pu$$y" Is there any truth to this??

Actually, from what I know, Nirvana was pretty flattered by the parody and liked the song.

Al asked Cobain personally for that permission, and Cobain was fine with it, as long as the song wasn't about food. Of course, that doesn't mean that he couldn't also have said something rude in his journal... substance abuse, chronic pain, mood swings... what I['m trying to say is you can be a Nirvana fan without subscribing to the doctrine of inerrancy. :P
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Nirvana loved the parody and didn't realize that they had "made it" until SLN was written. However, since most Nirvana fans don't know that, they hate the song.

Quite the opposite. Kurt once referred to Al as a genius and had a lot of praise for SLN.

This is just another case of a diehard fan of the "sacred cow" Cobain and refusing to accept the truth.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

That person also call Al a "tallentless turn" I guess he's just ticked Al's still alive while Kurt is dead

Actually- Kurt does mention Al in his journals. He has scrawled on one page, "Weird Al is a musical genius." He did misspell 'weird' though...and possibly 'genius' too, if I recall correctly.
