That Goat' Doesn't Love You

I've noticed lately that al has been sportin a goatee everywhere theese days. I hope he keeps it as some kind of new look. I thing it makes him look younger. I call it his dadio look what do u think

Al tends to wear the goat' when he's off-duty. And during the PH tour, during the first show after some time off, he'd progressively shave it during the show. OE calls that the Come and Go-tee.

I like the goat' and I wish he'd wear it on tour but it's his face and if he wants to shave it, I guess that's his business.

I don't know that we needed a whole topic. And it seems like we have had this topic, or at least the discussion in the Drool Topic.

I like Al's original look better. Of his new looks I like clean cut Al better, makes him look more kid friendly.

do u mean he shaves it off as some kind of fun thing actually in concert or do u mean once thst concert starts he shaves it off?

He shaves it off a little at a time DURING the concert. Maybe someone can help me locate the various concert pics, but you will see him full goatee for part of the concert. Then he shaves off part of it while he does a costume change, and so on until it's all gone. What a nut! Of course it's another reason to look for shows after a hiatus long enough to grow the goat'.

Does that mean ur gonna close my topic.

Not just yet. But eventually I'll merge it in Generic Al Blather. Although I've always thought it would be funny to have a Facial Hair Watch topic. Or maybe a graphic somewhere on the forum that would show the last known state of Al's facial hair.

He has done it two or three times that I know of. The first time was at Orange County summer 2003, I think. Anyway, I'm sure it's done for a joke.

He also did it on March 24, 2004 in Akron, Ohio. I was at that show. It really was a sight to see. The goatee just kept getting smaller until it was gone.

'Twas, 'twas. When the show started and we saw Al for the first time, I remember having to explain to Aaron why I was giddy about the chance of seeing the "gradually disappearing goatee" gag.

"Just keep your eye on his facial hair during the show."
