Al on Australian Breakfast Radio

Post by Spinning on a Fish »

Hi there Al enthusiasts

Thought you might be interested to hear a radio interview that Al did on Melbourne's Nova 100 recently.

Go to http://www.nova100.com.au/template_hkd_ ... ge3&PID=49 for this four parter.

Be warned that some people may be offended by comments made by the hosts and people calling in, especially the patriotic Americans among you.

Hope I'm not telling you about something you already know.

Can't wait for the concert on Sunday!

Thanks for the links. I'd love to hear it, but my Windows Media doesn't support the protocol. Does anyone know what that means and how I can fix it?

At the very end of the 4th clip, when al was asked about if there were commentaries and special features, that maybe he gave was odd. I got mixed vibes; either they're hidden well or he didn't want to dissapoint and say a flat out not really. That was an entertaining interview though.

I enjoyed the interview, but I didn't like any of the parodies people called in with. I especially didn't like the comment made about "Yankee pig dogs". It was interesting to hear Al's comments, though.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

That seemed like a friendly, good-humored bunch; they were pretty nice to Al, in spite of trying to get him to work "off the clock." And I like the way they pronounce "poodle." :D

But ugh, those call-in parodies. It gives me a very good idea of where all those not-Al songs come from.

Windows Media Player played it for me. Maybe some folks have old versions that need updating?

Yeah. Windows Media Player played it for me nicely. No problems at all.
