Well, you know me... I had a lot of fun designing my shirt. It was fairly easy to do after I had the graphics done.
I bought some transfer paper and printed it. Ironed it on, and there it was.
The only thing I don't know is how washable it is. The insert said it was washable, but I never tried it. Mine got copiously covered in Nirvana water, so it's now an official part of the Weird Al collection. I mean, it's not every day that your hero spits on you!
They also have special paper for printing on dark tshirts.
My shirt had the lyrics for Hardware Store sort of superimposed over the publicity shot for PH. In larger print it said "I'm goin' to the Hardware Store!" (Which must have raised some eyebrows in church that morning.) On the front I used my scotti-palooza avatar. On OE's, I used her avatar (and misspelled her name. Oy.)
It was fairly inexpensive to do. Each shirt used two transfer sheets, they come 6 to a box for around $12. I found matching shirts at Wal*Mart for something like $5 each. So I spent less for my shirts than the one I bought from the merchandise table.
Oh, an important note... If your printer has the option for you to choose transfer, then you don't have to make any adjustments. If it doesn't then if you are going to print text, you need to reverse it. If you need help with that PM me and I can assist.
