Better as Parodies

Since theres a topic for songs that had better originals than parodied, how bout one where we list songs that had better parodies than originals. For instance, Grapefruit Diet sounds better than Zoot Suit Riot (but hey I think they did that song for the music, not the lyrics) and Trash Day is definatly better than Hot In here.

For somebody as talented as Al, I think it is hard to come up with parodies that are less entertaining than the originals. The only one I feel fits into this category is "Girls Just Want to Have Lunch", and he was practically forced to write that one.

Okay, i think ive got it straight. Originals Better than parodys is for ORIGINAL songs better than AL DONE PARODYS, Parody's worse than originals is for Both, and this is to focus on Parodys that are better than the original song.

Achy Breaky Song is ever so much better than Achy Breaky Heart! Before Al did it I couldn't hear that song without ...er....losing my lunch!

After finally getting to hear a tiny bit of "Hot In Herre," I'll agree that "Trash Day" is infinitely better. Which isn't really saying much at all for HIH.

Also, IAATP was much better than IAATB. The only other one that comes immediately to mind is "King Of Suede" was better than "King Of Pain."

I've heard all of Hot In Herre (it was playing while I was bowling) and definitely Trash Day is so much better!

I've also heard Lose Yourself and I'll definitely say Couch Potato is better, plus I could barely understand a word Eminem said in it.

100% agree that "Trash Day" was better than "Hot in Herre"...It's one of the best parodys on PH and "Couch Potato" was infinetely better than "Lose Yourself"...also, "eBay"!! The original made the BSB sound a little gay if you ask me...so anything was a welcome change, esp. something as inventive as "eBay"...and look what it did for charity!
