That's a beautiful thing. I really wanted to find a third date for this tour, and now I won't have to venture very far. Also increasing the odds of finally seeing When I Was Your Age live!
Even more beautiful: I got one of those opera box seats. I'll be bringing my best Statler & Waldorf!
Well, I was able to get some decent balcony seats, so it looks like this will be my second show! I'll be there with my sister and brother! Very excited to have a fourth show this year.
Any Philly fans going to this show? It's on my 29th birthday (gasp! I've been part of this forum for 15 years!!) and I already traded shifts at work to have my birthday off--still don't have a ticket and I haven't bought one because I haven't figured out logistically how it's going to work. Would need to Megabus or train back to Philly afterwards and figure out how to get home safely from the train station or bus stop so late at night (rather, early in the morning!)...UNLESS I can swing something to be able to get to work slightly later the following day.
I'm in South Jersey and was looking in to adding a second show. Looking at the bus schedules, it is a little sucky for people wanting to leave NYC it seems. Last bus that I could get looks like it would leave at 10, and the next one doesn't leave until 3:15am. I'd really not prefer not to drive into NYC if I could prevent it, when taking the bus is so easy. If I find another mode of transportation there I'll certainly let you know!
I'm a newly registered member on this board - although I have been reading as a guest since last year. Going to see Al on 3/22 in New York for the first time and I have two spare tickets left (orchestra level, right side, two adjacent seats in row L) that I'm trying to sell for $190 which is about the same price incl. fees that I paid on Ticketmaster. Could transfer the ticket on Ticketmaster, if you have an account, or send a pdf-file.
If you know anyone that might be interested, please send a message. I'll be at the show as well (coming over from Germany), so we could meet up at the entrance in case there should be any trouble with the personalized e-tickets (they've got my name on it). According to my experience with personalized tickets they don't check IDs though.
Really looking forward to seeing Al for the first time and hope we'll get to hear "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota" among others and "Dare To Be Stupid"!
Heading for New York on friday. Still got 2 tickets to sell. Please make an offer and I will seriously consider it! Fill the Apollo Theater! Do it for Al! ;D
Good seats have been popping up, so I just snagged one in the 4th row.
Already have tickets to the Long Island and the Friday (1st announced) Apollo show. Had been kind of on the fence with this one, but couldn't pass it up with the different set-lists each night.
