What i like best about AL... lets see, EVERYTHING!!!
I realy admire his power to rise above bad critisism. I'm sure when he was a kid he was always picked on for being a nerd, instead of letting that stop him he was able to rise above it and realy turn it into something positive... very few people can do that.
I know its been said before but i would also like to reidarate his humbility.
Also I think its great how he can preform a spoofy love song full of cheesey catch phrases, or whare medical scrubs (the list of odd outfits goes on) and still look better than those music preformers that take themselvs way to seriosly and sing about how awesome THEY are.
Also his hair... you just cant get passed his hair :9~
EDIT- i forgot to mention his music and family freindly humor!!!!

I love all his many faces, and costumes. Also, he is a really nice guy. I read a story when the girl met WAY and she accidently dropped her pens. He actually picked them up for her. Now tell me, how many celebs would do that these days?
That was Laurel. I remember her telling us about it. Made me smile just imagining it.
I'm always appreciative when people who are famous don't try and act famous. Gary Sinise is like that. He's really, really nice and down to earth... but this isn't the Gary Sinise forum.
I'm glad Al is still so appreciative of his fans and any time someone says something good about him. He always has a kind of "aww gee, thanks" attitude.

Makes me smile remembering it, too.
GAME OVER, you hit it right on the head. I remember wondering how many other celebrities would do something like that, too - though not until after the fact, I was in too much of an AIH when it actually happened!

I also love how he remembered me from the comment I'd posted on his Myspace page before the show. His memory for his fans is an amazing thing. He really does care about his fans, and I love that.

Yeah, its always great to see how humble Al is and how its almost like he, himself doesn't believe he's famous and that people love him. People like that are always great.

Aside from the obvious, his music, what I like best is, he seems to be a really kind-hearted person and really cares about his fans. The shows that he puts on shows that. And all of the photos that I'm seeing that he takes with fans, gives them hugs, he really is a cool person.

Trust me, April, he is quite possibly the nicest person you will ever meet. You should go read my blog about the Kettering show (I've already posted the story in the Kettering thread, so I'm not going to repost it here).

Welcome to the forum, April, and Autumn is right. Al is a real sweetheart. He really does care about his fans, and he has mentioned in many an interview how thankful he is to us for his success. It makes me proud to be a fan.

He definitely cares about the fans. At the Innsbrook show, he was genuinely apologetic about the "technical glitches" that had occured and truly appreciative of all the fans that showed up and braved at first, the record-high temps then the thunderstorm and periods of drizzle that occured throughout the show. I doubt many performers in the same circumstances would have been as gracious and kind as he was that night!

You're all right. Anyone can go make music and sell it, but Al does that and more. He makes his fans feel special. Thank you Al for being there in more ways than one.

Here's something else I like about Al. The way he looks when he's laughing. His nose wrinkles up in a cute way. Here's a screen shot from an interview to show what I mean.
