It's Al! Of course he made cheesy jokes!

He said something like "A year ago, I didn't even know who this next band was. But now, I can't live without them. They add meaning to our boring miserable lives, yada yada yada...."
BTW, for those of you who missed it. Check VH1s listings. They sometimes reair music awards shows. Also, check out ABC Family Channel. They rerun a lot of ABCs programs. I'd check for you, but it's past my bedtime.
Goodnight!

I only missed the Al with Coolio part from the previous AMA because I wasn't fast enough or else I got everything else Al.
Here's what I do to normally save tape. I'll record the full segment to present any Al missage (except the part I did miss) and if Al didn't appear on anything until a commercial break, I'll rewind back and keep going over. Works quite well.

So here's a discussion topic:
Is the Evanevanoxinfree's introduction the first post Poodle Hat album clue? After all, we know what happened with the AMAs the last time....Granted, a parody would be a stretch, but "Bring Me to Life" sure fits in a polka.....

I taped the show but not the pre show. I still have to watch it though. that's the beauty of setting the timer. You can record one thing and watch something else. I wish I would have gotten the preshow. Hubby won't watch any of that award show stuff though. normally I don't either but I will for Al!!

Next I have to tape Lilo and Stitch at 1 am on Disney cuz I messed that up too. G'night folks.

Well, we can add Jimmy Kimmel to the list of rude hosts to diss Al.
At least it's another reason I can list why I change the channel whenever his stupid shows are on.
I think I'm echoing everyone's feelings that I was extremely bored by this show. I changed it back to the "Simpsons" repeat after Al's bit. Justin Timberwolf's geeky international mugging makes one yearn for even the outright exhibitionism of the Madonna/Britney kiss from the MTV Video Music Awards.
To Dick Clark, and I'm speaking as someone who is quickly getting tired of you, give it up already. It won't ever be the Grammys alternate you hoped for.

Really. The world could use less awards shows. People's Choice needs to go, too.

I had quite a bit of a delema. I'm a big fan of that show American Dreams, and I had to rig up my 2 VCR's so I could record Al and American Dreams at the same time. Well, it was coming up to about 15 minutes before the Red Carpet part started. I had everything set up an hour in advance, but I couldent find my remote for my 2nd VCR, so I had to mess around finding an alternate way to record the shows. Then my antenna wire broke, so I had to drag all of my equipment down in the basement, and hook everything up again. I missed the first few minutes of the red carpet show, bit that's no big deal. Anyway, I had to put in the first tape I saw to start recording the red carpet part, and there wasnt enough tape on there to get the whole awards show, so I ran upstairs, got another tape, and stoped recording, rewound it a little, and it wasnt 30 seconds of rewinding, and there was Al! Glad I didnt stop it 2 minutes before! Anyway, I got all my tapes ready, and recorded everything without a problem. I got done watching American Dreams, went upstairs for about 15 minutes, went back downstairs and turned on the awards show, and it was during a commercial break. And afer the commercial break, there was Al again! Boy, I sure didnt have to do a lot of waiting to see my dose of Al tonight! Then the Coolio thing took me by surprize since it was the 2nd or 3rd clip they showed in that "AMA reflect" segment.
Off topic, and had nothing to do with Al, but American Dreams was awsome tonight! It's kindof ironic that the 2 shows I recorded tonight were of Dick Clark Productions!
