Yeah, it did look redone.
While it didn't blend very well into his face earlier this summer, for this show it actually looked pretty natural.

Awww, see? Al listens to us. Because who will tell him these things if not the people who love him and want him to look good?

Wow. I don't know if I'm in an Al-induced haze right now or if I'm just straight up high. The guy in front of us and the guy beside us both had bongs and were smoking the entire time.
Other than that, this was so much fun! Chris Hardwick was so funny! "If you think about it, Cracker Barrel is hilariously named for the demographic they serve." He was a great "opening act" for Al (as in he got the crowd pumped, definitely not because he was family-friendly). The actual concert was amazing! I feel like Al was way more relaxed than he was on the tour, but that might just be me. Also, his vocals were better than usual, probably because he was able to rest his voice after the tour. One of the projectors wasn't working, and as Al stated, "Unfortunately, the best part of the show is on that third screen. You're only getting 66.66% of what you paid for!" After the first drum solo, Al took a picture of the crowd. He tweeted it during the show (I wanna say before Smells Like Nirvana), and my friends and I are in it! I was wondering if anyone else can see themselves in it, too? After the second drum solo, Al asked the crowd, "ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?" and everybody said, "YES!", and then Al said, "Oh, well this next song is a ballad, so...awkward..." and then he played "You Don't Love Me Anymore". During Craigslist, Al changed the lyrics to "To the snotty barista at the Coffee Bean on South Lamar Blvd." and the crowd went crazy.
We didn't stay to see if there was a meet 'n greet afterwards since we figured he probably wouldn't be doing one.
Overall, an amazing concert. Both of the people I went with had never seen a Weird Al show before and they were amazed. This is the third show I've been to, and it was definitely the best. This is an awesome festival and I'm looking forward to more music today!

I'm really surprised he didn't change up the street names the entire tour.

Yeah, as far as I know, it was only done twice this tour. I didn't see either show, though. I believe the other one was in OR?
I think that will be something that we will see when he performs Craigslist on the next tour for the album. He did the same thing of substituting names of places in the 2nd tour for Complicated in the medley. I think the perfectionist part of Al wants to get the original completely down live before trying much alteration of stuff.

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine... nobody mentioned Steve's face plant?! I guess it wasn't that visible. Did anyone see it?

Nope. Not us. We were standing over by Jim about 4 people back from the railing and we were surrounded by tall people. Jim and Al were visible if we looked around people, but that was it. That's one of the problems with going to a concert when you are only 5 feet 0 inches tall. Can't see the forest for the trees.
So...what exactly happend with "Steve's face plant"?

Pictures from the concert. I also got a shot of Chris Hardwick while he was singing "Yoda."

I just watched a clip of "Craigslist", and Al was just barely hitting those high notes, his voice was cracking a little. You think he might drop it next tour, for the sake of his voice?
