How will I be able to connect with those of you who are also going?

Just come down to the front of the floor section before the concert and look computer-literate.

Lots of us have little badges that Diva made (mine broke, alas! but you'll have no trouble identifying me... I'll be the one in the Renaissance Faire outfit

) We tend to mill about quite a bit before the show starts. And take group photos afterwards.

Does anyone know how long it will take to get to the venue from Burbank? I just got into town a few hours ago but I'm excited to go to this concert tonight!
I'd go with Vikki and say at least two hours. Getting there early is no hardship; there's stuff to see at the fair. Leave in plenty of time and don't make yourself crazy.

Anyone know about how long will it take to get there from Santa Monica? I wanna get a good estimate of what time I should leave.

I'd say one to two hours. But leave with plenty of time, the later you leave, the more traffic. I left at 1:30 at got there before 2:30. Of course, I never went to the fair before and I wanted to check it out with my friend, but its not too bad of a drive from Santa Monica.

Thanks for the awesome reviews, everyone! As far as the Chicken Dance is concerned, if you paid attention, you'd know that it's supposed to start off slow, and then speed up as it goes along. Been doing that dance for years, so I know. I was not disappointed when I saw the guys do it. Cool about Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers coming back again.
Helen, sung to again? Awesome! hehe, you're gonna wear your Renaissance Fair outfit tonight, huh? Awesome! I wasn't sure if you were joking about telling people to do it, but it sounds like you're following your own suggestion. I might have to talk to Kari about possibly both of us wearing ours. Or, I might go solo. Sis is working on a cape for my outfit, so maybe it'll be done by the time September 23rd comes along.
Anyway, I've enjoyed reading the reviews. Thanks for the White and Nerdy pics, Rachael, and the explanation, Helen!

So what if I "cheated"... it worked, didn't it??
I would think it probably had more to do with the seat you were in than the PM you sent. (Row A seat 1).
I didn't cheat, and I got the same "forehead action"!

Rachel gave me a picture of the back of my head and the top of Al's that she took while he was singing to me. (Thanks, again, Rachel)! Oh....and I also got the Nirvana cup!
Helen, I still owe you a frozen treat!

Oh you girls are so lucky.

Maybe next concert I'll actually get some good seats. I'm glad you all have fun ad I hope everyone who's going to tonight's concert has fun as well, I know I did. (Even without a WBUL line sung to me)

I'm going to leave for the fair in a few minutes. I'll be wearing blue jeans and my black Poodle Hat t-shirt. I'll be wearing a name tag from the signing back in September, because I forgot to send Diva a request to make one for me. See you all in a few hours.
