Instead of 2 separate polkas, there could be a 6 minute polkafest instead of the usual 3 minute (excluding RWS' 4 minute) polka.

QUOTE I think that the AL-bum will have a song having to do with a subway. What do you think?

Well, a song about a crazy crowded subway/ smelly subway would sound an awful lot like Another One Rides the Bus, or Traffic Jam. But then what do I know about the talents of Al? I am nothing but a mere fanatic... or maybe Al is going for the Lenny Kravitz look.

QUOTE Lenny Kravitz's next album, \"More songs Car Companies and Airlines will like\"

Not to mention Post Offices. "The Means of Transportation cheesy compilation album", anybody?

Now a song about Jared and the restaurant Subway is a whole different idea :)

QUOTE Two polaks, when i tihnk about, could very well be the \"surprise\". Maybe one of the polkas will be a medley of Al songs?

Or maybe ALL polaks, I tihnk. :lookround: Sorry, I just thought that error was too funny sounding. And I think an extended polka is good. Keep making typos everyone!!!!! It's funny! :P

I had the Alternative Polka tallied at 4 minutes also.

I'd love it if Al parodied one of his originals. It's certainly something he's never done before. And like Kurt Cobain says "you know you've made it when Weird Al parodies one of your songs." :D

surprise

Post by Phillipemoz »

Al said in an interview a while back that there would not be an eminem parody on his album, so maybe the surprise is that there will be.

On the other hand, maybe the disk will start out with 27 minutes of silence, and then Al will come on and say ' I know it's a little late for an April Fool's joke, but the real album isn't done yet. You should have listened to Bermuda, he told you that it would be pretty tough to get the album out by May 20th. April fools! :P

Of course his fans would be pretty peeved until 27 days later he releases the album 'I love torturing my fans,' which turns out to be the greatest album in musical history.

joke

:stupid: of course I hope this is not true. Although he does love torturing us, I don't think even Al would be that cruel (although I would be pretty mad, I have to admit it would be funny in a sick way). So just release poodle hat on the 20th, and I'm betting it will the greatest album ever recorded.

First of all Al will never do that. Also, volcano will never allow it because they will be criticized and make no money.
