That's not for a couple weeks. You won't know if there will be one until after the show.

I hope there's one in Billings! I would totally spaz if there was. And then if I met him, you wouldn't want to be near me, I would be way too hyper.

Why would we know Scranton? Meet & greets aren't announced in advance (unless they're sponsored ones like a radio station promo or a charity fund-raising thing).

I'm going to Al's concer ttomorrow, and I have been thinking about the possibility of a meet and greet. When people meet him at concerts, do you usually just pos for photos and/ or get autographs, or do you get to ask him a question about his works? I have been thinkign of what I'd like to ask him, but of course don't think I should ask something that would require a long explanation, and not something that would sound like a psychotic fan question. I thought about asking him if there are any songs (besides Lasagna and Couch Potato) that he wishes he could have made a music video for. Or if he's ever thougth about starring in another movie.
I wonder if it would sound too insulting to praise his less successful work. I wonder if he'd feel honored or insulted if I said "I really like Polka Party and The Weird Al Show". I don't know if fans often comment on their favorite Al songs, though it would be hard to list just some of my favorites.

Photo ops aren't guaranteed (they're usually discouraged), but autographs are a certainty when he agrees to an M&G. You can ask him just about anything and he'll answer. I think Al enjoys the praise, so he'd be more likely to feel honored.

Does Al discourage them, or does the venue?

It depends on what kind of time frame they're running on. If there's time, you can get a posed pic, otherwise someone can snap a candid pic of you getting the autograph.

I don't see how Al could possibly be insulted by someone who said they admired any of his work. If you like Polka Party, say so.
