Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

The only way I would even start to believe this would be if this movie was animated. After all, Al did say he's starring in a major animated movie. However, this doesn't sound like it would be animated, and it sounds like a fake premise.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

In an article from the Rolling Stone Blog. Here's the direct quote:

Actually, it’s looking like I may be cast as voice talent for a major role in an animated feature that’s going into production next year, so I’m very excited about that one.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

If Tim and Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job(!), does a job with Uncle Muscles in it, he'll be there. I love watching him on Uncle Muscles!

*reads Wikipedia article and shudders*

Ok, even without the mention of Al, that article gives me bad vibes. I happen to love the original - watching it now, as a matter of fact - and if nothing else, I am appalled at the changes in the casting that made that movie work. Come on, Cary Elwes made an awesome Robin Hood IMHO.

And as much as I adore Al, I just could not see him in the King Richard role. And finally... sequals that are technically prequels really tend to annoy me, because they have a tendency to mess with whatever canon was established by the original(s).

So that's my 27 cents on the RH: MIT2 concept.

But other movies that Al should have been in...

I second the notion that he should have been in Pirates Of The Caribbean. :)

And for some bizarre reason, I keep thinking he might have been pretty cool in Spaceballs...

Al should've appeared appeared in Nacho Libre he should've replaced Jack Black.
