No, you haven't mentioned it, Ryan! That's it. Group pictures for each day of the week for the random WOWAYers that appear for a day! Woo! This is gonna be awesome!

I'll be there Wednesday through the rest of the shows that week. I have to leave on the plane on Sunday. I won't want to leave.

Hey, it'll be nice to see you again, Ryan!

If anyone has an extra ticket for Thursday, please let me know.

Thanks-

QUOTE (Insert Coin(s) to Continue @ Jul 16 2007, 07:36 PM)I'm going to be at the OC Fair concert on the 19th (Thursday). Who else is going that day?
[/quote]

I'm going Thursday night only. But two weeks ago I wan't sure if I get even one night, so I'm still really excited.

Maybe I'll see you there!

Kristine,

Fortunately I have tickets, bought nearly as soon as they were put on presale.
So I'll be looking around to kill time, and trying not to blow a lot of money that I already don't have. Thanks for the tip on the hiking boots verses preferred parking. Do you happen to know if the fair will let you in and out to your car (handstamp) kind of deal? I'm trying to decide what to pack into the fair or leave in the trunk and go back for later. I've actually been to places where they won't let you leave and then come back in later, even just to the car.

Do they search bags? No weapons, but how about food and water? Camera ok? The site says that insect repellent is a good idea, any thoughts? Hat, Sunscreen, Ice cold milk to go with homemade brownie?

Thanks again for the insight.

Hey El,

Except for the all packed part, I'm totaly with you. My apartment hasn't been so clean in years (did I just admit to that?) and the cats, hermit crabs, tarantula and plants have met their caretakers.

I've got a morning Dr. appt and an afternoon job interview. Got to give the car and tires a good going over, go to the grocery store, and I have to find the time to pack along with all of that! Maybe I didn't need to clean as much as I did?

I'm still really excited, just not looking forward to the LONG drive from Tucson.

Have a safe trip, ninelyvs! Glad to hear you got things worked out and are able to celebrate your birthday at an Al show :)

DrSteggy, sorry to hear you won't be at the concerts :(

And in case I don't see/chat with you two on Friday, Cid, a Very Happy Birthday to Kevin! :)

Thanks for the well wishes for a safe journey! But it is JohnBob that will be missing having his birthday with Al on the 19th. I'm sure he is quite disappointed. I know that I would have preferred making the trip with him instead of alone, but I refuse to miss it completely.

Yes, they do the hand-stamp thing, if my memory serves me right. But only until a certain time of day- you'll have to ask.

Non-alcoholic drinks in plastic containers (no glass) and food are allowed. Cameras are fine, of course. If you're using film, they may want you to open the canisters. Depends on who you get searching your bag. Some people, I just showed them it was a camera bag, cracked it open, and they said "fine". Other times, they made me remove the camera so they could look all the way to the bottom of the bag.

Yes, I'd put on at least a little bug repellent (usually all it takes is a few spots on your neck and arms).
