So, are there any easter eggs hidden in the new Al DVD? I thought I saw a thread about that, but I can't seem to find it. Don't wanna be missing anything!

Well, I'm sure this was posted earlier in this topic, but there's a hidden clip of a 1979 performance of "My Bologna" accessible in the Extras menu by highlighting The Weird Al Show and pressing UP on your remote control.

Well, I just bought this DVD through the WOWAY banner up there.
I also bought it on accident. But oh well! It shall arrive in a week...

I've noticed that all the Weird Al Shows were all repeats. What I mean by that are the videos that you can (did) get online, even the My Bologna special. Most of those I found at Altimedia.com. I wonder why that is?

Well, despite the fact that they were available online, they still weren't officially "released" yet. So they would be repeats only to people who had downloaded them from one site or another...and I don't think Al or Volcano considers something up on Altimedia.com as a "release."
Let's face it, someone could be running the latest Windows with the most up-to-date graphics card and optimal stereo set-up, but a downloaded movie file will still pale in comparison to an authentic release taken from the original master tape.

That, and Al will actually get paid for the UVC mastered from the original version. So everyone wins.

Yes I know, but don't you find it bizzare that those are the only ones that you can get online. I can't find just GEAH. I think Al saw those videos at Altimedia.com and decided why not put those on TUVC. I just find it kinda weird.

Maybe they wound up on Altimedia and on TUVC for the same reason-- because they're among the best bits.

You're kidding right? Granted I haven't seen The Weird Al Show, but if those were the best bits; then well I'm sorry but that's just a little sad.

It may be all Al was able to get rights to. So what's your theory? Al was being lazy? Some kind of high level government cover up? What?
