World of Weird Al Yankovic

If security claims he left in ANYTHING other than the tour bus, they're making it up. They don't use limos, suvs, helicopters.... etc.

I saw Al leave the venue on foot before. His hotel was across the street and half a block down.

I know Steve had left for the hotel on his bike from KC.

My friends looked at me odd when the security guard tried to convince us Al left already. I knew that was a lie. They figured it out because the show hadn't been over for even 5 minutes. I knew for the reasons Kristine mentioned and there was a meet and greet for backstage pass people going on inside.

I was so amused when the security guard who told us Al left was told he was lied to by other security.

I've seen Al leave the venue in a golf cart.

I saw Al leave a show in a SUV once. I believe it was on the Bad Hair Day tour. My friends and I were waiting around to see if there would be a meet and greet and we saw him come out and get into the SUV. We naturally decided to leave after that, and headed to a nearby Denny's.

There were a ton of fans there, so we were waiting outside for our table when we saw the same SUV pull up to the hotel that was right across the street and saw Al get out.

We chose NOT to go over there and bug him or say anything about it to anyone else eating there....but we thought it was pretty cool that we saw him.

Well, that would be interesting.

Maybe it's been different for previous tours, but I've heard he stays on the bus and not in hotel rooms...although the band does stay at hotels from what I've heard. So I doubt he'd leave on an SUV anyways...at least on this tour.

I really wanted him to come out in Sacramento, there were only about 6 of us left after waiting almost 2 hours... I heard some rumors about the bus driver not being a very nice person.

Yeah, that was many years ago...but my friends and I were standing right there when he left and right across the street when he arrived....so I can say with 100% certainty that it happened at least that one night.

Beyond that, I make no claims or guarantees about anything transportation related. Haven't staked out the back of a theater for quite awhile now.
