Al actually is a pretty decent actor, and for what it's worth, I could see him pulling off a serious role if he absolutely had to.
Look and Will Ferrell and Jim Carrey...

With the way these animation studios go for celebrity voice actors, I wouldn't be surprised if Al ends up doing a voice in some CGI animated film in the future.

I did do a search for this, but my apologies if it's already been posted...
There's a fairly recent Wikipedia article which talks about a sequel to Robin Hood: Men in Tights. According to the article, Al's playing King Richard.
Now personally, I reckon this is probably a prank from someone who has way too much free time on their hands, or its just that someone's mistaken; this is Wikipedia after all, and the article doesn't have any sources at all. And it is the only site on Google which mentions the thing, which is why I doubt it's real. But perhaps it is true.
Anyway, yeah... discuss, if you wish.

Sounds bogus to me. We would have heard something about that, I think. Plus, he's too busy touring to be in a movie.
That movie sounds really stupid anyway. I didn't even like the first one, so I actually hope this is not true. I'd be torn between wanting to see it cause Al's in it and NOT wanting to see it because it'll suck (oh, and that idiot, Isaac Hayes is supposedly in it too).
