There's a fan-made one on YouTube, done in the same style as the other Al-TV polkas. Al's will no doubt look exactly like it.

Al's polka videos tend to match up better than some of the ones on YouTube, though.

Whiteandnerdy, the polka videos are just the videos for the original songs spliced one-after-the-other so it looks like all the bands are singing Al's polka. To humorous effect.

Yay, another Al-TV! Though it does seem like it'll mostly be showing of the video Al wants to watch or um...show the world. I'll be very happy for the one or two celebrity interviews that happens. I really miss Al-News too.

I'd love to see Al "interview" James Blunt, and maybe stick it to the suits at Atlantic, kind of like the Eminem interview

Well yeah, the format might be tweaked a little again, but at this point with the way "music video" channels are evolving (or devolving) it's very likely that we'll never see an "Al-TV" again like the ones of old, either in length or format or variety. The MTV networks are now owned and controlled by Viacom, and it's clear that the freedom anyone had with the company before is long gone.

The fact that Al is even given a new hour-long special is amazing, especially since VH1 seems more interested in self-promotion than anything else (unless one thought it was a coincidence that Brooke Hogan showed up on one of the first episodes of that Wendy Williams show). It seems to be a testament to Al's longevity as an artist and his identity with both the video format and the MTV family of networks themselves.

I don't think that showing the videos for "Pancreas" and "Don't Download This Song" will do anything to convince people to buy the album if they haven't already and I certainly don't care if I never see them again anyway.

But whatever way they feel is best to promote the album I guess.
I was disappointed when I first heard this news too. I really wanted to see the normal amout of interviews and I'm not really sure I want to see all of the videos. But the lack of interviews is probably due to the fact that Al has to get permission to do them now (stupid VH-1). It will still be awesome to see an AL-TV, even if it's not exactly what we had in mind.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

No matter how this Al-TV turns out, I'm just glad there is going to a show called "Al-TV". There will never be an Al-TV like the old ones, because the networks are to conscious about what they air and how they portray people. I will be kind of disappointed if it turns out to mostly just be videos we've already seen, but I know that Al will put on a great show for us--the greatest in his ability.

Ever since i became an Al fan the only Al tv that ive seen that would be anything close to what ive heard the old ones were it the RWS one that one was better than the PH one cuz it had more to it. Interviews are great but there just needs to be more other wise i would just be repetitve and people wouldnt want to watch it as much

Cant wait to see what he does with HArvey too :P

But hey at least we are getting something just a month ago things looked pretty grim for Al-Tv
