World of Weird Al Yankovic

Yeah, I think Cid & Kevin looked for him a while later to share some photos (they're such nice folks!), but couldn't find him any more.

It was nice to hear that apparently OC Fair security was impressed with how fun and well-behaved the Al fans were all that week.

Yeah, Cid and Kevin looked really hard to find him again to give him the picture. I know they tried so hard.

The OC Fair security loves us Al fans. I liked them a lot and even last time around, they told me to have a safe trip back to Nebraska.

Sounds good to me! I will be in such an AIH from just being at my first Al concert that I'll be singing the whole set list extremely fast. Can't wait to see you there!

I have an extra ticket for the last night (21st). It's Sec 2, G9. (Near center, towards stage right, Jim's side)

My sister was originally going, but she will still be in Germany.

Just wanted to make it official here on the forum: I'll be moving into Los Angeles permanently on July 20 and then on July 21 I will be attending my first West Coast "Weird Al" Yankovic concert.

Long time Al-fan, finally saw my 1st Al-show last night in DelMar - awesome show!
My wife wants to go now, so we're gonna try and see the 7/21 OC fair show.
For folks who have seen shows there before - how is the GA? Is there plenty of room for everyone or does it fill-up/sell-out?
Or even better yet...does anyone happen to have an extra pair for the Sat.night show???

I was there last night, too--loved it! I'm not too sure you'll be able to find two tickets together for OC, but I think a couple forum members have one extra ticket each for the Saturday show, if you don't mind sitting apart. And maybe the seats are even close enough together where people might shift a little for you.

Kristine's seat location is right above, and OE, want to contact this new member with your extra ticket info?

As far as GA goes, yes, it fills up right away, and especially crowded for the Saturday show, so you'll wait in line for a very long time in the summer sun to get a good seat. Reserved seats is definitely the way to go, but the GA seats aren't bad--that grandstand is less than half the size of Del Mar's.
