He who's tired of Weird Al is tired of life.

I agree with you addictedtoyankovic, its good for the whole family and they don't have to sit there and deal with it, they actually like it.

I was watching my "Weird Al" Yankovic-Live! DVD (just came in yesterday..yay!) and I thought it was cool about how many families there were with kids. Even the parents seemed to be enjoying themselves. I liked seeing that.

Another reason I like Al is that he makes other artists seem so ordinary. He's not like everybody else, and that makes him awesome. :Y

Yes, that's exactly what I think. He's different from what's considered the "norm" in music, and he's different from many other celebrities in the way he acts. So I guess that what I'm trying to say is that Al is funny, he's not self-important, and he's not afraid of being himself. :D
And now for something completely different...

lol my mum and dad cant stand Al, but its so nice to finally have a musician that my parents have no valid reason for me to not listen to! :yay:

I also like the fact that there aren't many Al fans here in Essex, so when an Al reference comes up (like 27 or weasels) me and my al mates can share a secret smirk while everyone else wonders whether we've lost our marbles

When I was a kid, "I don't like that music" was considered a valid reason for my parents banning me from listening to it in their presence.

Yikes, they're multiplying!

What I like about Al is that his CD's can withstand anything. Today, I was riding my bike to a friend's house, with one hand on the handle and the other one holding the Greatest Hits album. While I was riding it I accidently dropped it on the road and it landed in front of me, bottom side up, and I ran over it with my bike (also accidently). Now, this was the VERY first Al CD I'd ever gotten, so it's pretty old.. :lookaround: But when I played it on my friend's stereo, it played just like it always has, without skipping or anything. My CD's of other bands I like would've been ruined if I so much had breathed on them wrong. But not Al!! :whoot:
