I was at this show as well. The difficulty means nothing to me, it is a badge of honor to say I was at a concert that Weird Al performed Radio Radio in a fat suit! This was my first Al concert, and probably my 46th total concert. Of all the concerts I've been to, rock, pop, hip-hop, Al's was the funnest! I would follow him on tour if it were financially possible

Guess it's time to clear up what happened... especially since it was my fault!
I run the Fat percussion loop & sfx, and in Lubbock, I managed to start both Fat
and the Amish Paradise choir sample at the same time! The resulting cacophony caused all of us to wonder where Fat was actually at, and Al wisely called for "Radio, Radio" (the significance of which has already been noted.)
It's rare to see us do anything outside of the set list, not to mention doing a straight version of a song. But Al singing an Elvis Costello song in the Fat suit was an added bonus for those who were there!
We normally don't condone audio or video recording of the show, but a video of that would be cool to have for our archive...

Radio, Radio in a Fat suit would be a great Halloween or April Fool's number- thanks for the explanation, Jon!
P.S.- See you Friday, at the San Joaquin County Fair!

That's actually really cool to know, Jon. It would make a great Al trivia question someday.
*is also hoping someone has a video of the mess up*

Thanks for the explanation, Bermuda! Much appreciated. I wish I was there, haha. It's kind of the equivalent of a factory reject or something like that (some people collect those!). Once in a lifetime, I guess.
