It was that time I went from casual fan to hardcore Al fan and as a token, I ended up with 2 all time favorites (Al and Nirvana)

The same with Dire Straits - I had never heard of DS until I heard "Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies" and now I'm a die-hard Dire Straits fan too. :)spacedingo @ Aug 22 2006, 03:34 PM wrote: It was that time I went from casual fan to hardcore Al fan and as a token, I ended up with 2 all time favorites (Al and Nirvana)
I didn't mean to single out Nirvana fans. I was more referring to the type of person that says something like that without having anything to back it up. When they're confronted with evidence that contradicts their position, they stand there slack-jawed. I know that Al has those types of fans too.weird_el @ Aug 22 2006, 01:02 PM wrote: Have you read some of the comments on Al's MySpace? We've got our share of the slack-jawed in our midst too. Fan bases in general are wide-open and diverse things.
like someone's wacky uncle who thinks he's peter cook after being funny once, this swimming-pool-owning fraudster deserves a chibbin'.
