I find that most people who critisize South Park have never seen the show or know very little about it other than it is intentionally politically incorrect and offensive. But if you look past that "face" you will find that it is one of the most intelligent, thought provoking, and socially accurate program on television.

I had to come out of my hiatus (sp?) from WOWAY to point that out!

I agree with you, Bruce. Because of all that, South Park is one of my favorite shows.

And I've learned something today (in the style of South Park). If you're a consistent success, people will always come back for your stuff even if you happen to have a failure. But if your best mark is a flash in the pan, you have to work twice as hard to win everyone back.

Well, Bruce, you found correctly.

I wasn't really a fan of South Park, either, up until two weeks ago. On New Years day at 1 in the morning, Comedy Cenral aired South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut on TV, uncut. I was shocked, having previously seen the movie in a record book for 'Most swear words in a movie'. But after watching the movie, I fell in love with the series' cleverness.

I find South Park to be very clever, at times (I saw the movie, what, three times?). There are points when they're simply trying to shock you with vulgarity and crude humor. Is that to say it's never funny? No. I don't even really find it at all offensive. I just get tired of the shock attempts that have been used since it's conception.

Fair enough, Bruce?

I think it would be better if Al could be on SNL.

Oh, yes. In fact, they're constantly struggling to find subjects that are still shocking and offensive. That's hard in today's world. But I think the shock is used to make people open their eyes and minds to bigger issues.

Geeze...

Yeah, my "polka gypsy" idea wasn't the best, but a simple "How about..." (idea inserted) or a simple "No" would've been nice. :(

Sorry, I just don't see gypsies on the show! Plus, isn't that what Al did in Lilo and Stitch?

I don't have any great ideas for how he could be incorporated into the show. But most likely, it would be some completely random and silly role, much like Robert Smith, Korn, and Radiohead have had.

Ah, but you see, that is random. The great thing is: gypsies can do whatever you want them to do. It's very strange like that.
