The price is good especially compared to other concerts that are up.
I do hope you somehow get to go, weirdalisthephantomoftheopera. Persistance is good! The first time I went to an Al show (6 and a half years ago!) I had to beg to get my ticket sooner than what she wanted. I begged to go to the show and then begged to get my ticket a lot sooner. She wanted to wait weeks...I didn't. She blamed gas prices back then too...which are much cheaper than they are now.
Now plane ticket...now gotta find times and such and continued to be confused by what they allow on planes nowadays. I don't wanna buy overpriced and small shampoo, toothpaste, and mouthwash.

Haha, yeah good luck with that one plastic ziploc and < 3 oz rule.
Basically, the rules are this (my grandma had me explain this to her yesterday since she's flying out tomorrow, so its fresh in my mind):
-All liquids (yes even water) for carry-on must be in original containers and less than 3 oz.
-The exceptions are certain liquid medications and baby formula. If you want to take a water bottle, you have to buy the overpriced ones from the airport AFTER security.
-All liquids must be placed into ONE quart-sized ziploc bag. This bag must be removed from your carry on at the security check point and placed on the conveyor belt separate from the bag for the xrays.
I would recommend trying to fly into John Wayne Airport, and not LAX.

I always fly into the John Wayne airport.

I should take a picture of the statue they have there of John Wayne...it would make my dad happy.

Stupid 3-1-1 rule.

Gosh, it seems like half of WOWAY is going. I wish I could too. You'll all have to take lots of pictures and I want concert reviews from each and every one of you!

Which backstage things from ticketmaster? Is there a direct link?
Oh, wait. I think I found it.

That's the first time I've ever heard of backstage passes being available for purchase. I just might go for one if it's legitimate. I've never had an after show pass on my own before.

The OC fair website also mentions something about backstage pass newsletter for the Pacific Ampitheatre, so I wonder if they'll also do the same thing for the stage where Al will be playing?
If so, they may be less expensive than through TM.
Hmmmmm....verrrrry interesting.

Yeah, I've never seen a backstage pass like that on sale. That's strange.

okay, don't get me wrong...I love Al as much as the next nerd - but is anybody else at all miffed at this: things that were cheap/free LAST OC fair are now completely unavailable unless you fork over a ton of cash? Good seats? CASH. Backstage? CASH.
I mean - I'm paying. But - bleh.
